This toy is fantastic for my very hands on and curious 8 month old. The size is manageable for him to pick up and flip around, and it’s lightweight enough for him. He loves banging on it - the sensories pick up their soft touch and light up red, green and blue. Music continues to play after he hits it which attracts him to want to keep playing with it. It’s especially fun to play with in the evening, as the lights dim in the house. The colors on the bongo really come alive. Will definitely be buying this as a gift for other babies.

I bought this after seeing my friend's kid with it during playdate. First, the drum has 2 tones and an ongoing beat when it turns on its side. There is no annoying music or nonstop looping. Also, there is enough sound differentiation that it entertained my baby without being overstimulating (no strobe effects). My husband and I are both musicians and love how the toy is educational without encouraging noise pollution.This is a good toy for children around 1yo but my 2.5yo still plays with it.

This drum is one of my children’s favorite toys. We use it daily during music time. It is sturdy and stands up to two toddlers beating, rolling and dropping it on the floor often. There is no volume control but it’s not extremely loud. Whether the sounds and lights are on or it’s off the drum itself is still attractive and fun to my children.

Hape makes such good quality products. This is a super cute toy and the sounds/lights are fun for the baby while not being overly loud for adults. The sound stops when the child stops playing with it, too, so that is nice.

My granddaughter loves to beat on this and especially loves to roll it, and have the music play so she can dance. The lights aren’t over flashy but fun to watch for her.

Esta bonito el tambor pero en lo personal siento q suena muy bajito... Y más porqe la Bocina la tiene en la parte de abajo y si pones en vertical por ende tapas la bocina y casi no se escucha, debieron haberla puesta x un lado. Fuera d eso esta genial

Devo dire che questo giocattolo è veramente robusto, mio nipote di 8 mesi lo maltratta in tutti i modi eppure funziona come il primo giorno e le batterie durano molto.

Zwei Lautstärkestufen - eine zärtlich laut und die andere erträglich laut.Die Funktion, dass das Gerät unterschiedliche, wenige Sekunden andauernde Trommelrhytmen von sich gibt, wenn es erschüttert wird funktioniert ausgesprochen gut. Fester Boden und es reagiert, wenn man vorrübergeht. Die Rhytmen selbst sind ausgesprochen gut - auch als Erwachsener ist es nett und geradezu aufheiternd diesen kurzen Einlagen zuzuhören.Der Button selbst hat zwei Hälften, die einmal durch einen roten und andermal durch den blauen Kreis gekennzeichnet sind - einmal ein heller Trommelton und andermal ein tiefer. Der Button selbst ist etwas leblos - Hartplastik, das sich schief im Gehäuse bewegen muss. Funktioiert, wirkt aber etwas hakelig. Ist für mich aber kein Grund für Abzug, zumal ich begeistert davon bin, dass kein blödes Kindergelache eingespielt wurde, wie es bei vielen anderen Spielzugen mit Soundausgabe der Fall ist. Nein, reines Trommeln in gern zu hörenden Rhytmen und dabei diese Autofunktion mit der Möglichkeit selbst etwas zu trommeln.
