I’ve had several self-grooming arch brushes for my two cats. The ongoing frustration was always that the brush constantly popped out of the base or broke at the anchor pins. This one is quite different. The anchor pins are very sturdy and are reinforced with a substantial rubberized cap on the underside of the base, holding them securely in place. I don’t see this breaking very easily under normal use. I always pick it up by the base, not the arch brush, to prevent stress on the anchors. The base is heavy and well padded. The brush has enough firmness to satisfy the cats but has a gentle touch for safety. I would definitely buy this again, but I have a feeling it’s going to last a long time. I really appreciate that because arch brushes are one of my cats’ favorite things.

My cats love this! They enjoy grooming themselves with the bristles. I bought the Christmas version, and it was cute and festive. They love to play with the bell and the Santa cat toy on the base. It was easy to assemble, and base is sturdy.

my kitten took to it fairly quickly. Light weight but sturdy enough. Not as nice as the previous one I had which was heavy and carpet covered. But it is ok. kitten really likes the mouse toy on a spring! Previous one did NOT have that but it was fine because it was for a mature cat. all in all it was a good purchase.

Easy to put together, relatively. I wish the base was larger. I bought the largest size they had. It's difficult to get the little slot things in the bottom to mount the arch, but the cats approve.

I was Skeptical buying this product I have bought so many things for my kittens. I thought it was just gonna be another thing that sat in the corner. I have a long haired cat who’s always rubbing up against things trying to groom herself or scratch yourself. She has absolutely enjoyed this to my surprise. My short cat also loves it definitely worth the money and it was a great purchase and very easy to put together.

Got the Xmas green one on sale post-Xmas.Free would not have improved this thing.My 4 cats don't care about color, but they do care about function, about things that work. That's why they are superb mousers. Mice never disappoint.The doodads (bell & bouncy toy) are fine for a two-month old sized kitten. Any larger and the bell smacks the cat's head. The bobbing toy blocks the cat's way thru the arched brush. So, they had to go.THEN, there is the matter of the arch itself and securing it to the base with a sort of VERY small, impossibly designed, plastic plug.Cannot be done. But you will lose your mind trying.After tossing the junk extras, my cats & I were left with a green base and a green bristle arch that pops out, falls over, fails 100% any cat tries it out.More worthless than politicians.

I am a little disappointed with the construction of this item.Previously, I had a different make, less costly but much better made. I gave the original to a friend.In the picture of this item, where the cat is sitting, there is a piece of wood surrounded by a fluffy material.In my opinion, it would be so much better if there was a carpeting material over the wood.
