Even though these were slightly too large, the tie string in the waist make them perfect! My preschooler hates how clingy typical swim trunks are so these were perfect! He is a tall, skinny kiddo, and could wear a 2T in the waist but needs a 4T in length.

Ordered a size 1-2T for my small 3yr old (my son usually wears a size 2T in clothing is 28lbs and just over 3ft tall.) when they arrived they appear to be around a size 6-6x. (I held them up to my 8yr old (who wears a size 8) and they look like she could squeeze into them! I took photos of my son’s Hanes undies size 2-3t in comparison to this product in size 1-2t. You can see the product appears to be about 3-4†larger in the waist. I didn’t even open the package because I will be sending it back. I need something snug fitting to wear under my son’s wetsuit and unfortunately these are not it. The design was cute.

These seemed like good quality swim shorts, but I returned them because they were way too big in the waist for my little boy. I ordered a size down, and they were still too big. They were very soft and had a cute design. I just wish they fit.

My daughter needed new swim bottoms to go with her rashguard shirt. This works perfect. She loves the cute dinosaurs. I love that they provide a little more coverage than typical brief style bottoms.

The product was nice overall my son is 2 and I got the 2/3 size and the waist fits fine but the shortness or cut on his bottom is very very short so just be aware of that when purchasing

Bought for my 4 year old grandson who just began swim lessons. They actually fit his skinny body. Drawstring a real plus. He says they make him swim faster!!!

These shorts are great for my 3yo!! I often find the “board shorts†style typically available for boys his age really restrict his movement once wet from the length and stiff material.These are bathing suit material and are higher on the thigh. As other reviews mentioned, they fit large. My kid is the size of an average 4yo, so I ordered size 3-4. They are still big, but the waist tie cinches them up to stay on his hips no problem. And he has room to grow into them now as well.I’ve already ordered another colour. Just size down if you want a more true to size fit.
