Works well. If it has trouble stuffing, it is most likely your meet is too thick, try adding either more fat or moisture. It does leave a bit in the bottom of the pot, but the reality if the rod expands because of getting warm, what would you rather have destroyed. If your are savvy enough, after your warranty period, you can alter the shaft so the top or "bottom limit sensor" is closer to the bottom of the pot.

Overall, a good product. Be ready to disassemble the plunge head for cleaning after each use. You must remove an e-clip to remove the gas relief on the plunger. I attempted to shortcut this by long soaking for cleanup, but ended up finding the one part that wasn't actually stainless. And in addition, I had to disassemble the gas relief anyway to get the remnants of last use out. The soaking resulted in loss of coating on the plunge head, probably from the salt in the sausage. Would be 5 stars except for the material of the plunge head.

After making sausage and using my heavy duty grinder to stuff casings for years, I finally bought a sausage stuffer. I had several questions before it arrived: Is the 15 lb size right, can I clamp it or attach it to my table, is it hard to clean, is it smooth to use...? First, for 80 lbs of sausage, the 15 lb hopper is fine. It loads easily, cranks smoothly and there are filler horns for just about every application. Second, this thing is SOLID. It was surprisingly heavy, with absolutely no need to secure it to the table. It's very easy to clean and every nook and cranny is accessible. My sausage mix is pretty tight (dry) and this stuffer had no trouble at all and no blow out around the piston. Great stuffer for any money.

Honest review here. Three key things: 1) sharp edges, hard on your table. 2) leaves about 10-15% of the meat in the bottom of the canister. 3) No fuse, if it overheats it will melt without warning. 4) company will not be helpful if it happens after the first year (notice the return policy)…The stuffer is nice compared to hand stuffing with a jerky cannon, easy to use but has some quality and engineering issues that you should be aware of (which is why it’s half the price of the comparable LEM).1) The base plate and legs on the canister are very sharp. You’ll want to sand everything and probably try to add rubber feet to the base to protect your table. I put mine on a wood cutting board when using it and it messed up the cutting board.2) The bottom of the canister is a poor design that leaves about 3-4 pounds of meat (even really wet/soft meat) at the bottom that the head cans press out. Get a jerky gun so you can finish that last few pounds… this was really annoying.3) There is no fuse, when it gets hot, it just melts the wiring and circuit board on the inside (see picture). Last year it smelled hot at the end (pressing 21mm casings) so we finished hand stuffing and this year when I took it out, it retracted all the way out of the canister (so the motor works at least one way) but now it won’t go down.Bottom line: it’s not the worst item out there… but it is poorly engineered with no safety mechanisms… I think it’s a fire hazard. Watching other video reviews on this, you can see the shaft pulsing up and down… if it’s doing that, probably about to fail.If you can get this under Amazon Prime with free returns for 90 days, I’d give it a shot for $400… but you need to use it right away to make sure it works… then, treat it like a baby. Any sent of hot wires or anything, it might be too late… let it cool. Use it on a surface that you don’t care about or be prepared to modify it.Now I’m going to break my “warranty seal†since I bought it over a year ago and the company told me they will not help at all because it’s out of warranty… so I’ll see if I can fix it. If it takes more than an hour, I’ll do what I should have done at the start and buy the LEM or another quality brand with a longer warranty and a real company standing behind their product.

We were stuffing sausages with the stuffing attachment on our meat grinder. Painfully slow process, and the sausages were turning out gray and mushy from the grinder basically mashing the meat to a slime while it was stuffing. We ordered this stuffer, and honestly, I wasn't expecting to get something high quality for the price we paid. Pleasantly surprised, this unit is all heavy stainless steel, even the tubes are stainless. We stuffed 30 lbs of breakfast sausage in 45 minutes, and the sausages came out beautiful. Everything comes apart easily, cleanup is a breeze, and it's ready to go next time. It comes with all the sizes you need for everything from snack sticks to summer sausage, it has nice, smooth, heavy duty gears, and the 2 speed system is super nice for moving the plunger quickly either direction. The horizontal style is stable, we had no issues with the unit moving around while cranking it. We stuffed with a 2 person operation, with one person cranking and the other feeding casing and catching/linking the sausages. This stuffer made sausage stuffing fun again!

Got to try out the new stuffer, did up 50 lbs in about an hour. I found that using the small tube for snack sticks you need to add extra water to meat. When using the small tube it doesn’t have enough power to push unless it’s a bit more wet or (mushy). I had to keep pressing and letting go of the pedal. I didn’t want to keep holding it and have something burn out or strip. All went good tho. It will be a trial and learning as I’m going from an old grinder stuffer to this automatic one. Buddy has a expensive LEM and says this one works just as good as his pricey one. Is recommended it.

Embutidora robusta y pesa mucho. Para una casa aconsejo la de 3L que es mas que suficiente.
