- The mask's middle part has 4 layers(Outer Layer, Hard Shell, Filter, Inner Layer). As for the top and bottom at nose and chin, it has 3 layers(Outer Layer, Filter, Inner Layer) which means that hard shell is excluded on top and bottom parts. In order to seal the parts of the top at nose and the bottom at chin, the firm hard shell has to be excluded for flexibility and, the top and bottom parts with 3 layers also have KF94 filtering ability as the hard shell is especially for maintaining shape of the mask, which is KF94 certified all in this condition. You can cut the mask and check if there are 4 layers in the middle and 3 layers in top and bottom parts, and also in this way, you can check if a face mask has genuine and authentic KF94 mask's ability.

These are real KF94 masks from South Korea. KF94 masks are essentially the same as US N95 masks, with one very minor and one significant difference. KN95 masks filter out 94% of airborne particles, while N95 masks filter out 95%. The big difference is how KN94 and N95 masks fit. For me, N95 masks are somewhat awkwardly shaped and do not form fit all the way around, but the KN94 have a much more natural fit because of the three (versus two) section design. That also makes the KN94 way more comfortable.The reviews that complain about the four layers of filter material in the center section (that covers your nostrils and mouth) and only three layers at the top (nose bridge) and bottom (chin) misunderstand why the masks are designed this way. The extra fourth layer of filter is only necessary in the center section because that is the only part where air passes into/out of your mouth and nostrils. The sections at the top across the bridge of your nose and at the bottom on the chin pass far less air in/out than the center piece does. The important thing to know is that the design is tested and certified to block 94% of airborne particles.These are really comfortable because of the three panel design, and the inner most fabric layer is very soft, almost like a piece of cotton fabric. This makes it easy and comfortable to breathe, even when playing fast paced sports.The fact that these are individually wrapped also means that they are far more sanitary than the masks that you buy stacked together in a box.Highly recommended. I definitely prefer these to N95 masks. I have bought these multiple times. I wish they were available in larger quantities.

One of the few masks that I use on a regular basis when needed. I like how it holds to the face but doesn't smother you. I tried these by chance and they are incomparable to others I have tried. As a person that wears glasses, I regularly have issues with most masks where fogging is a constant issue. With these, I rarely worry about fogging unless I am doing something very labor intensive and even then, it is still less than practically every mask I have tried over the years. It is also more comfortable around the nasal region after adjustments, I can feel that it holds without being very tight on the top of my nose.

I like KF94 masks better than KN95s. These masks seem to have the usual KF94 high quality feel to them. Most KF94s feel like they only really seal around larger faces. I’m a relatively large man and generally qualify, although the distance from ears to front of face is average (meaning elastic can sometimes not be tight enough when on the face).These masks feel about as loose as any I’ve worn. They seem like they are designed for only the most XXL faces to maintain any sort of decent seal. Compared to L/XL N95 masks, these have very little seal to them, they are meant for that large of a face.Do yourself a favor and order the smallest quantity of these to see if they fit before ordering a large amount. I ordered too many and will be looking to try other KF94s. My usual provider is not on Amazon and I can’t get them anymore, so the search goes on.

I've used these before and they're just great. I like the overall shape of the mask, and it's black.This mask is KF94, meaning it's made for Korean filtration standards. I would prefer N95 (US standards), but it's ok. This is the best we can get in the US with this kind of shape. Still 2 thumbs up!

These are good quality masks, but much too large for my face- there is significant gapping at my chin and neck, and the nose piece creeps up very close to my eyes. Will work for someone else!
