Okay, so I love my parents shih tzsu, but I HAAAAAAAAATE the smell of "wet dog", or ANY dog that isn't bathed WEEKLY. My parents have our precious little benny groomed/bathed every week at a local pet salon. Thankfully, he always smells good. My dad retired from United Airlines after working there for almost 40 years. So him and my mom get to continue to fly free for the rest of their lives. Needless to say, they love to travel the world together. Everytime they go out of town (they are currently in Hawaii for the week), where does our sweet fluffy adorable Benny go? He comes to my house. My kids LOOOOOVE him. What's not to love? He's little, he's super fluffy, he's so sweet and not hyper, he loves to snuggle and is quite possibly the cutest shih tzsu I've EVER seen. We can't take him anywhere without being swarmed by people flocking to him! When he comes to our house, my girls love to dress him up and run through the sprinklers with him and take him on walks like 3 times a day- rain or shine. That's why I bought this spray. It was because it was supposed to be rainy here this week and I knew they were looking forward to walking him and playing with him in the backyard and trampoline etc. The smell of dirty dog and ESPECIALLY "wet dog", makes me physically ill. I have thrown up before. Since my parents love to travel, he is with us at least once every month or month and a half. Therefore, I ALWAYS prepare with sprays before he arrives. Believe me when I tell you that I've tried AT LEAST close to 20 different dog sprays. Some either don't smell good enough. Some smelled horrible. Some smelled nice, but the smell was so faint that you would have to quite literally pretty much SOAK him to get adequate freshness. Some had no smell. Some came in the worst bottles that would leak all over the place. Some would spray, but the nozzle/mister was so heavy and blotchy and would apply unevenly all over him and apply in big drops as if it were a squirt gun or something lol. And it would make a mess all over the surrounding floors and such. Some sprays would only smell good for literally less than 20 to 30 minutes. Etc so on and so forth, I'm sure you get the picture. HOWEVER, THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST DOGGY SPRAY I'VE EVERRRR USED! let me tell you why. First off, the price is great. I've spent close to $30 on horrible sprays that are the same size as this before. Secondly, the smell is INCREDIBLE 😍 it smells like a very fresh scented men's cologne. Third, Our little benny has very sensitive skin and this spray is super gentle for sensitive skinned doggies. I DO wish the smell lasted a tad longer, but that is just me being picky. Because the smell does last for a substantial amount of time. The bottle is nice and firm and not flimsy- like many others I've tried. The bottle does not leak. And you don't need to spray half the bottle to get an adequate scent. Just about 4 to 5 sprays is perfect. It doesn't make a mess on your floor or the surrounding area of where you sprayed your pup. And my favorite part of all?? THE MIST! the nozzle/mister doesn't squirt out thick heavy sprays like a squirt gun, it doesn't spray out blotchy thick uneven sprays. The nozzle sprays out the most gentle, heavenly and continuous mist. It's the type of heavenly and refreshing facial mist that a human would even want! It is such a light lovely mist, so your doggy doesn't end up soaked. It's such a light luxurious mist and not like most nozzles that just shoot out product like a squirt gun lol. You can also spray their face and it doesn't burn their eyes or anything like that. It also just so happens to be one of the least expensive sprays I've purchased, ANDDD it gets delivered right to your front door?! I CALL THAT A DOUBLE WIN! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANY OTHER DOGGY SPRAY, OTHER THAN THIS ONE! IT'S TRULY THE BEST!

this actually smells SO GOOD that I have genuinely sprayed it on myself in lieu of one of the many expensive colognes in my bathroom.Ace, my buddy / smooth-coat (single coat) border collie goes on a dirty mountain biking, hiking, or swimming adventure with me in the mountains most days as we live at 10000ft. Bathing him has has felt like a chore as he needs a gentle rinse every 2 weeks or so to stay fresh. He’s so soft and smells so good after a bath, but that fades quickly. After his bath, I use a small amount of this cologne on his back / belly, and spread it into the back of his front paws and all over his back legs.It’s scented strongly, so I avoid putting it on his neck or face, and use it conservatively. but holy moly, this good boys confidence and approach to both the doggie and human girls/women (respectively) in his life is notably different when he’s wearing Friday Night. He’s even been giving me a hard time for not approaching more women in public, which is totally unfair, I do my best.He’s constantly trying to go out on the weekends, and it’s always a club recently. He chews his collars, harnesses, and life vests now because they’re “not designer” in his words. Just be careful, this is lifestyle-changing cologne for the good boy/girl in your life.

I ended up purchasing the "Friday night" version of Harbors Bad dog Cologne . I was not sure if I would like it, as ordering online, you can't smell them before you get them. Lol I ended up loving the smell! So did my dog! It gives off a sandalwood/patchouli vibe. It doesn't list out what specific smells are in it, but it only has 4 ingredients! And the company states that this product is vegan & cruelty free. I just sprayed a few pumps on my dogs back and brushed him out. The smell lasts for days! Even with my dog spending a lot of time outdoors this summer. Defining will be buying again! ❤️

Fragrance and price are both great. My local dog wash had a different brand, that lasts over a week. This one fades pretty quick, have to apply every 3 to 4 days, but overall is good. Dog smells pretty and she is happy.

I have a male yorkie/chihuahua mix who is very much a dog's dog. He's totally goblin mode, and a kinda feral guy by nature. All about the outdoors, in everyone's business, thinks his job is to control the cats, etc. So obviously, finding a cologne for this little guy was a challenge. Orange/kiwi/floral scents just don't match his personality. I'd previously tried a sandalwood scent and loved it - but it got doggie vetoed. So I was back to searching for something masculine yet sweet and ran across Cuban Nights.Omg - this smells great! It seems to have dominant clove scent with maybe a little tobacco and other stuff in the background. Kinda perfect for his personality, really, since he's a spicy little guy. He doesn't love it as much as I do, but he doesn't hate it when I apply it the way he did every other scent I've tried so I'm taking it as a W.I gotta admit, I'm a sucker for a guy with nice cologne! I totally plan to try the Bad Dog as well, once it's back in stock.

UPDATE: I've shopped on Amazon nearly since they started and this will be my first review I have ever changed. This seller noticed my first review and nearly instantly contacted me with a challenge. I accepted and samples of other scents was delivered to me and to my surprised, I was dead wrong. The fragrance is so good and not only smells great on my dog, but it fills a room! So pleasant and satisfying. We are going to run out fast and I will purchase more! This store stands by their product! So refreshing!!Maybe my sense of smell is shot. I can barely detect the any fragrance at all and that doesn't last but a mere few seconds. I really have to bathe the dog in this just to get something out of it.

This product has very little fragrance. As soon as it dries, the fragrance is gone. Disappointing.

One star for the smell, but the sprayer couldn't fit into the bottle!!!

My only issue is, I can’t believe I’m saying this, it’s too strong. It’s so strong that one squirt fills the entire groom room for the entire day. One squirt lol I had to stop using it because the other groomers were bothered.Otherwise it’s awesome.

Very nice scent. Does a good job of covering that pesky dog smell. Lasts for a couple days and don't need to use much. My Shephard has pretty sensitive skin and this has not bothered him at all. Decent price as it lasts quite a while. Sprays well in a good mist. Well recommended.

The scent of this dog cologne is very lovely (Clean cool water) but I do find it doesn't last more than a few days and I am hesitant to overspray him (approx. 3/4 sprays in total, Anatolian mix breed).Granted, I have a large dog who is often outside, sheds fur like mad, and I only spray him down following a bath, so please keep that in mind when considering longevity.I highly recommend spraying on your already dry pet fur in an open space, better if outside, as I found it irritated my sinuses in a smaller area and can't imagine what it must feel like on his [dog] senses.The size of the bottle, 100ml for $12.99 at the time of this review, was a good deal and I imagine it will last us a while!
