I have not received mine yet, but have used my sisters, and that is why I just purchased 3 of them. Giving two as gifts. Love that it is stainless steel!! It works well, and so easy to use. The cook time is short and you don’t have to keep an eye on it.

This delightful little egg steamer is fantastic. As someone who follows a predominantly vegan diet with hip pain, I prioritize whole foods and limiting time in the kitchen, and thus prefer cooking in batches. That is where this egg steamer shines; it not only frees up a valuable stove eye but also comes with an automatic timer that eliminates the need to constantly watch it. On my first adventure with this little steamer, I set the timer to 10 min., and the eggs emerged delicately soft and utterly delicious. Although I prefer my eggs a bit more cooked, the generous range of cooking times means I can easily adjust for next time, which is a feature I truly appreciate. The operation is impressively simple: add measured water, place the eggs in their designated holders, set the timer, and wait until the timer stops. Clean-up is easy as well: empty water if any is left and clean it. The stainless steel is to be kept dry so it does not rust.This steamer can hold up to 14 eggs, with space for seven in the top tier and an additional seven in the bottom tier. However, I did find that the egg holders need to be deeper as it was somewhat challenging to keep the eggs upright.. Safety is paramount, and this steamer addresses that with features like boil-dry protection and an automatic shut-off timer. I also adore its sleek stainless steel design, which not only looks elegant but is also impressively lightweight. For anyone who struggles with lifting heavy pots, this steamer is a breath of fresh air—it is even lighter than my 7-8 lb Yorkie. As a delightful bonus, its two-tier design allows for steaming other foods as well, making it versatile. I opted for the beige color, which adds a touch of elegance and a minimalist aesthetic. I love this little kitchen miracle.

Finally, we got a nice egg cooker. We eat eggs daily for our diet and it has been difficult to boil on stovetop. This is perfect solution fast easy and perfect boiled eggs every time. Tried it for the first time it worked great.

ELECTROCUTION HAZARD!!! I had the egg cooker turned on, using it appropriately per the directions, and touched the metal top of the egg cooker at the same time that I was leaning on my metal stove. An electrical bolt ran through one arm and out the other. This item is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS! Do not purchase!

I was a little hesitant at first because I thought it just cooked eggs. However, I ended up loving this product plus it does more than cook eggs! I don't have to sit and watch the eggs to make sure they don't boil over. Plus, I just found out you do not have to have this unit plugged in if you just want to use the timer feature. The timer does make a "high pitch ding" noise. There is instructions that are clear on how to cook the eggs and it comes with a small plastic measuring cup. The only assembly was just putting the inserts all inside the unit. Very easy! The plug in is just a regular plug in. This does more than eggs, it is basically a steamer. I have placed some veggies and shrimp in here. Just remember if you do this, it is just enough for 1 to 2 people. But if you are in a hurry, this is great. I am a person that likes safety features, this product has an auto shut off. Easy to clean, everything can go in the dishwasher except the electric base. I love cooking with steam, this is a great product and doesn't take up alot of space. It says in the description cooks up to 14 eggs. Personally, I buy the extra large eggs. I normally can get in 7 to 8.
