As I had just ordered the Sandisk, this cover for it worked out great and they came in same package. It fits just like it showed, the band holds in the body and the net pocket holds the charge cable.

I requested this to have added protection for my portable SSD. I like it because it provides protection for the SSD but also a convenient place to keep cords for the SSD as well as the instructions for the drive. It works pretty much as the picture demonstrates. The SSD fits on one side and the cords and instructions fit into the opposite side of the case. Great to be able to keep all that in one case.

I returned my external drive, so I ended up returning the hard case, but it was softer so I am not sure why its called a hard case, either way I would have been satisfied because my external drive would have needed a case.

It will do the job, but as you can see it is slightly too big for my Sandisk Extreme (latest model with 1050mbps) that it was supposed to snuggly fit.I bought this case at a slight price premium compared to others as it was supposed to have a bigger netting for cables, thereby protecting the SSD. But you can see the netting is much smaller than in the advertised photo (false advertising).Still, it will do the job and looks sturdy.
