They work very well. They’re large enough to keep the sun off of your face for most of the day and actually keep your head a lot cooler. They’re light so they aren’t uncomfortable unless it’s windy. It’s also nice not having the sun in your eyes while working. I just wish they had a better way to mount toMy hard hat.

I recently purchased the LIZMOF Hard Hat Sun Shade for a field trip to the oil fields in West Texas. It turned out to be a valuable addition to my outdoor gear. This works on my riding helmet, which has a built-in visor in front. It's not stylish, but it's much more affordable than the same thing that is made specifically for riders.

If you work out side, buy it now. The reduction in sun is awesome. Doesn't hold much heat. I did flat roofing with this (torching and high heat machinery).It is not a cure all for UV protection. I would still recommend protecting your skin, but I found I did not need to as much on the sides or back of neck. Way less sunburns!
