I ordered the 12v 6 speed portable sander to work on an antique chest I was refurbishing and I hit the jackpot because it came with lots of accessories. It comes packed in a neat little storage bag with the accessories. The six speed options give you the ability to choose the amount of power you need for working on delicate details or sand really hard wood.I recommend this product highly!

My old corded Ryobi rotary tool finally died after 20 years, so I decided to get a cordless one. The Hardell had good reviews even though it was less than half the cost of the Dremel, so I bought one.I received it, took it out of the box. I checked the battery, and it showed in the green so I started using it. It stopped working 15 minutes later. I charged it for 2 hours and it came on for 5 seconds then it never came on again. I'd returned it and gotten my refund within 24 hours of it being delivered.I'd just buy the Dremel if I were you.

Of course, referencing this as 'Powerful' is a relative term. But for the class of device, it is powerful. It's kind of a double edge sword though... its big for its class, but that size enables the larger battery for the power. So, the pro and cons are two sided.Battery life has been reasonable and it feels relatively durable, but only time will confirm that.If you are in the market for a cordless Dremel and the larger size is OK, it a good choice. If it's for a grooming aid, I'd suggest a smaller less powerful option.
