These drill bits are just about indestructible I hung a total of 13 TVs using the same bit

Absolutely useless. They will drill softwoods with moderate pressure but the flutes pack up quickly — no evacuation. On maple they simply burn up before the hole is less than a 1/4" deep. I have never seen a NEW drill bit this bad. No way to sharpen a brad point bit so I'll just bin them. Not worth the 7 bucks to spend the time and gas to return.I should have known that you get what you pay for but in 7.5mm there weren't many choices that I could get within a few days. So my project is dead while I search for a sharp bit. I only needed one but I have a whole pack of the same size duds.PS, 19/64ths is about the same.Edit: The seller issued a full refund and I didn't even ask. So there's that. Thanks

Drilling softwoods was excellent. Drilling hard rock Maple was even better.

I got what I paid for, a drill bit that wobbles so the hole is slightly bigger than the intended hole size. The table on my drill press shook because the bit was not balanced properly. It did the job I needed to get done but certainly not a precision drill bit.

I ordered several of them and not one was sharp enough to be an effective Brad point bit. I have a picture of one that was used in a 12volt drill for the first time going into oak and the but just twisted up. These are complete junk. Do not waist your money!!
