How to install it? First, you need to make a hole, then put an eyelet through the hole in the front of the object, set the washer on the back of the hole, and finally, hit it with a hammer tool.
Notice: If you are using pliers, please pay attention to the direction of the buttonhole and the pliers, the wrong direction will cause the buttonhole to be damaged.

These grommets surprised me -- I almost wish they made them much smaller as well (smaller than the 8mm), because these finish really nicely on the back -- no perforations or ugliness here! Just a smooth roll over like an eyelet (exactly as shown in the photos). My only lament is that the black finish is only on the front, and not on the washer for the back, as well, but that's splitting hairs. I set the first one of these easily and smoothly. Very pleased!

They are bigger than 3/16 so I had to make the hole bigger. Bummer drag. Very disappointed.

Works very well, used them for my wedding dress. If you press too hard the white paint will scratch hard - so go gently.
