Bought the 4.5mm to repair a set of bike rollers (kind of a treadmill for bicycles). Probably a fairly demanding application for this style belting.My first credible try at a splice lasted about 20mins. The internet says to heat up a utility knife blade to melt the ends but I was fortunate to have a scrap of 1/16" stainless steel which holds heat much longer and makes it a little more leisurely process. But after you heat them you have to stick the ends together like RIGHT NOW. I found using a V-block to quickly position the ends to be absolutely essential to getting a good splice.My first V-block attempt is coming up on 100 miles on the rollers. The splice rolls over a 4" roller about every three feet of that.

Purchased for a belt driven spinning wheel. Excellent fit good tension. Cut to fit enough for a couple of belts.

I purchased this for a treadle. It melted easy to connect the ends, no more staples! Bonus that it doesn’t slip like the leather or steel coil belt sometimes do. It’s also quieter, love it!

The rubber belts work well and easy to cut and splice together. I ordered 5 rolls and 3 of the 5 seem stiff compared to the first 2 rolls. The elasticity is not consistant but I would recommend it to anyone that needs custom belt sizes.

I'm a trapper and wash the hides before I sell them. I have an old maytag apartment washer from the 70s. And the belt was just as old. Made from polyurethane. I did a lot of research and read a lot of forums to discover that this is what I needed and a lot of the people on the forum ordered from a company in the states. Being in Canada they didn't ship up here, so Amazon to the rescue.Shipping was fast and price was excellent.
