This is aesthetically an very nice insulated pot. It also keeps your coffee or any hot drink hot for much longer. I've not really tested how long since my coffee never lasts that long. The lid it comes with has 3 inserts that vary pour speed, the fastest one is still a little slow to me. As with any of these sealed pots, you will have around 5ml of liquid left unless you take the lid off and leave it upside down for 30 seconds.It's a really nice pot tho, mine actually fell in transport and I dented the bottom a little. This hurt my soul but I still use it and it's affected it zero functionally.

When watching videos on the V60, folks usually use a glass vessel. Big mistake. Unless you are only doing one serving.I have the 800 ml Hario server with a Size 03 Hario Switch for when I want two or three servings. This server keeps the coffee hot. It pours very nicely. If you want it to pour faster or more slowly, it comes with interchangeable parts to do that, too. It is very easy to clean.The only thing you can't do is actually watch the extracted coffee drip into it. If you need to watch that, or you're going to make a video, then pass on this. If you're in it for the coffee, it is extremely nice to have.

The problem is I get up around 5 AM and my wife gets up around seven. I like making a large batch of coffee in the morning and she loves having a hot cup of coffee as soon as she wakes up. I used to have to time when she woke up to do another pour over and it would take another 5 to 10 minutes or so to complete. Now I can get her a hot fresh cup of coffee straight from this amazing Hario thermos. Thanks Hario for saving my marriage.Seriously though, it’s hard and it’s so well-built well last many many years.

I don't like the fragile glass cups and carafes that come with pour over type brewing systems, so I got this instead. It's an insulated carafe and keeps the coffee warm for hours. 3-4 hours later, and the coffee is still warm. I did experiment with leaving the coffee for about twice that long but I think that's asking a little too much of this product. No big deal because I usually finish the coffee much sooner than that anyway. I should mention that the product comes with very detailed instructions about cleaning and using the product. You probably want to read those carefully before use.

Yo lo uso para mi metodo de filtrado y por le color tambien es genial como viene, la verdad a mi no me interesa guardar el cafe ahi solo lo compre porque la jarra de vidrio se partió y pues hay menos posibilidades que se dañe este ademas de que es mas resistente a golpes.

I have both this new version and the older one. Both retain heat well and generally have good ergonomics but the ease of use of the new lid is a big improvement. On both of them washing the lid is a bit of a pain but the overall utility is quite nice.

I use the server mostly for keeping coffee and tea warm. After about 60-75 mins, the drinks start to cool down; to a level some (including myself) may consider they are too cold to drink. So I am a bit disappointed with the heat retention.Alternatively, I find myself falling back to my old insulated tumbler which can keep drinks hot (real hot) for 2-3hrs.
