Unique two pins design holds the harmonic damper pulley compatible with Toyota 3.4 liter V6 engines for crank bolt R&R.
- 1)Allows factory torque to be attained to seat the pulley properly

- 3)Home made tool to hold the crankshaft pulley in place to remove the harmonic balancer
- 4)Necessary for both removing and installing
- Design to seat the pulley properly, holds the pulley stationary for the center bolt to be removed, necessary for both removing and installing.
- Made of high quality-42CrMo Steel, heavy duty and durable, surface coated with black paint to ensure resistance to corrosion and rust, protection and years of trouble-free use.
- The tool in combination with a 1/2" breaker bar braced against the frame make short work of the crankshaft bolt.

All you 3rd gen 4runner owners looking to do a timing belt job or anything else requiring removal of the harmonic balancer, this is the tool you're looking for. It's the one seen in Timmy the tool man videos on youtube (maybe not the EXACT same one but same tool nonetheless). Fits perfect, works great.

Fit perfectly into the key holes, was strong enough to take the 214lbs of torque needed to tighten the crank bolt. Finally a great tool that will stay in my toolbox instead of going back!

Ended up doing a bump start to loosen my cs bolt. But this tool is heavy and the finish looks good. Just make sure you have bundles of upper body strength because that bolt doesn't come out easily.- meant to add -it's not the tool's fault that I ended up doing the bump start. Like I said, it's a solid tool, I definitely would go to it first for turning a CS Bolt, it's just that the one I got it for must have been put on with 400 ft/pounds of torque. But the tool itself is well-made and tough.Addition needed this tool for reattaching my CS bolt - worked perfectly. Held the shaft tight, and had no problems.

I purchased a few of versions of these and they did not fit the harmonic damper, for the 4Runner even though they said they fit. I am happy to say that this one fit the 4Runner 4x4 from 1999. This is the larger device for the larger engines.

I tried to use a c-clamp like another reviewer did. That was a no go. I ended up needing someone to hold it in place until i got enough tension on it. Ended up returning.
