Bought these to use for riding and turnout to protect a healing wound on my horses pastern, and they are awesome! They stay in place, don't interfere with natural movement and the fleece is very soft. I do use a non-stick piece of gauze over the wound as well, but it's just to help keep the medication in place. Highly recommend!

I needed some sort of pastern protection for my mare, she was clipping herself. So far, these are working awesome! They are soft, do not irritate her, or inhibit her movements at all. I do not know how the fleece will hold up, I am curious over time; but for now they work great-exactly what I was looking for.
