I bought these weather-proof mitts after one-too-many silly fabric gloves failed to protect me when scraping snow or ice off the car. I live in New England so that is the norm in our winters. I fully admit I am spoiled as my spouse is the one doing most of the shoveling and clearing the cars in our household (thanks honey!!). These mitts are a bit overkill for day-to-day use if you're just keeping your hands in your pockets, but perfect for that one time a week that you need to reach for the ice-covered door handle on your car. Or if you are shoveling snow/scraping ice they would be perfect. I expect they would work well for skiing (I don't ski so not 100% sure but I can extrapolate fairly well). The black leather looks very stylish and the clasp+buckle combo is a nice touch to keep you extra snug and warm on those arctic blast days. So far they are holding up well to my infrequent use and I expect them to last at least 2-3 winters, maybe more. Good value for the price for sure. I will report back in case there are any issues with it. :) 5/5 would recommend.

These little mittens reming me of something a lady would have worn in the 50s or 60s. The leather exterior is a nice buttery-soft and well-hydrated texture, and the lining on the inside is a medium thickness that is still plushy and warm when they're on, but allows you to still have good motor control and grip while you're wearing them. I've been using them in the mornings because they keep my hands warm until the steering wheel on my car warms up and they look classy and pretty with professional outfits for work.

The mittens would have been fine but were too small -- and I don't have large hands. I ended up giving them to my granddaughter.

I received this product through Amazon Vine.I ordered the Medium size and it fits very nicely. The mittens are really soft & comfy to wear, they feel great and I really like them! The only downside for me is that I do not know exactly what the inside lining is. The description mentioned "wool" but I do notknow if that is the actual lining or not. Which is why I deducted 1 star from this review.

These mittens are very nice for casual wear outdoors. The sheepskin leather outer material is sewn well and is very soft and flexible. The inner lining feels good against the hands and fingers. My wife said she would not wear them for chores, as they look more like driving gloves, in a mitten style. Usually size large mittens fit her, but she says she would size up if she needs to order a second pair. The mittens are not machine washable, and instructions specify they should be dry-cleaned only, which is another reason they are not suitable for chores. If attractive, warm leather mittens are what you are looking for, give strong consideration to these from Harssidanzar.

For temperatures in the mid 20s to upper 30s, these mittens keep my wife's hand warm without causing them to become sweaty. She likes their looks and their feel. She can easily grip the dog leash and safely pocket them. She appreciates the simple design and I appreciate the fair price.

I have a width of 7.5-8 on my knuckles and ordered the XL and this is a perfect fit. The mittens fit nicely with the lining and I can slip them on and off easily which is a requirement for me because I walk dogs. In 18* weather they keep my hands warm and are very good looking to boot. I will be purchasing again.Highly recommended.
