My cat is flea-free thanks to this Hartz UltraGuard ProMax Flea & Tick Collar, which works wonderfully. My cat has stopped scratching since I gave the collar enough time to function, so I can say that the collar is doing its task of keeping my cat protected. What I like about the Hartz collar is that I can cut it to the length I need for it to easily fit my cat. It's soft, flexible, and comfortable for my cat to wear, and my cat doesn't seem to object at all. There are 14 months of head-to-tail protection (7 months from each collar) the fact that the Hartz collar continues to protect my cat for up to 7 months makes me very pleased because it eliminates the need for my cat to take monthly flea medication drops, which my cat absolutely detests. The Hartz collar's ability to kill and repel fleas, ticks, flea eggs, and flea larvae while also preventing the hatching of flea eggs is its best feature. Simply measure, cut, adjust, and place the collar on, and you're done. Easy. My cat is completely protected, and that makes me feel at ease.

1st collar we bought was amazing, worked great. I had tried everything. Bought a 2nd one when it was time for a new one, does not work. My cat has fleas.. very disappointing.

I bought these for 4 feral cats we adopted, who were infested with fleas when we got them. After wearing the collars for 4 days, I combed the cats with a flea comb every few days for 2 weeks. I expected to be combing out dead fleas, but instead they all still had very alive fleas on them! Each time I combed a cat I got a minimum of 6 live fleas off each of them. And fleas are still jumping on me & biting when I pet them. Very disappointed with these collars, they did not seem to make any difference in the amount of fleas on our cats & in my opinion a waste of money & time.Yes, the collars are "soft & comfy", as some other reviewers stated, but what is the point if they are useless against fleas!!

I purchased this collar in mind for my Inside/Outside cat. He loves climbing trees, hence why I purchased the breakaway collar. They are just a normal collar. It's a flea and tick collar. No smells. No skin irritation, it fits him just fine. Knocked off the stars for sending me the regular collars and not the breakaway.

They do the job, and are cheaper and (on paper) longer lasting than the Seresto collars. Still a bit early to definitively say, but so far so good.

These didn't work for my cats. I wish they had. They were the best price out there.
