For some reason, it's purple. Not all die cast metal, about 1/3 of the wings are plastic at the tips, and the gun turrets are plastic. The face and visor have no engraving, it's just a black painted stripe where the red eye should be.

The ship looks great, but it's 3" in the longest dimension-- from the point of the wing to the tail.It's mostly hollow metal, with plastic wing tips. The metal can be drilled through to make a hanger. Yes, I turned mine into a Christmas ornament!
