Review soliticiations :-) This is a substantial spoon holder. It has heft to it. If you knock it, it won't necessarily go flying across the counter. Didn't realize it was as "heavy duty" as it is and I love it all the more for it. chrome plated, I'm sure, it's been in the kitchen going on a year now and it washes well in the dishwasher and does its job next to the stove. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, sorry I didn't find it decades ago.

These are nice little spoon rests. I purchased these multiple times as I keep one on each side of the stove, and another one by the coffee pot. You can also use them for dips. The blue color is vibrant.

I use several utensils whenever I cook, and most of the time I’d use a plate or paper towel and this has alleviated the need for that.Dishwasher safe allows me to be lazy and throw it in the last load of the day.If I had to add a complaint, it would be that I didn’t buy a bigger one, but this is perfect regardless of that.

It's nice that bottom is smooth ceramic, no counter scratches.
