Okay, so my son and I were both born with Sagittal craniosynostosis which is a condition where the sagittal suture, the growth line that runs along the top of the skull from front to back, fuses prematurely. It caused my head to be long, or "boat shaped", (or as my brother would say, "Egghead"), with a narrow face, wide spaced eyes and a high forehead (he has corrective surgery, I did not). I'm saying this because it means that hats RARELY fit me unless I get XL, which isn't always available. I FINALLY found a hat that not only fits, but it looks good on too. Ssshhhh, I have long, curly hair so head shape is hidden anyway😉. Well, since I found a hat that I love I want to be able to keep it so I went on a hunt for a good hat box. My cowboy(Cowgirl? Cowperson?) hat is XL and I worried that it wouldn't fit. It fits perfectly AND there's room for my pink/black Detroit baseball cap and a Levi's bucket hat, all without disturbing the cowboy hat which will be wrapped in acid free paper after conditioning, because it's leather. A cowboy hat shouldn't be stored on the brim...Don't want to bend it (brim) and we certainly don't want our "luck" to spill out of the bucket, haha! But even upside-down the inner straps work, without disturbing the shape, to hold the hat inside nicely. The box is well made and for the price point, it's a great deal. It has a long strap and a handle but I will only be using it for storage. I think if I were to travel I would get something sturdier to prevent damage because although this box is great for storage, it CAN be crushed. It's like those foldable boxes used in storage cubes with the board piece for the bottom, only bigger and fancier; so it's good for storage but if used for travel use great care. I hope this helps some, I hope you learned something new and I'm very happy with my purchase. Stay blessed y'all!

This is a really nice, roomy hat box. The black color looks sophisticated. Hats cost a lot of money and I trust this hat box to protect my hats, as its build quality is exceptionally good for the price. I have not used the hat box for transport yet, but its fine construction and generous strap size should make transport a breeze.

I was looking for something to put my beach hats in and came across this storage case. It was a perfect size and I was able to fit about six hats, and I still have room. I just wish it was a little more sturdy. But it definitely got the job done.

The hat storage box was a good value for the money. I had purchased a collectable, autographed hat, and wanted to be sure it would be protected. This box fits the bill very nicely. Glad I purchased this hat box.

I used this storage bag for a cross country move to keep my cowboy hats safe. There was 1 hard hat and 2 soft felt, so I was able to stack them. They all survived the trip, so I would say it's pretty sturdy. It's a good size, perhaps a bit big. I actually packed some other fragile items around the hats simply because there was space to do so. Light weight and I like that it has a carrying strap.

Great for storing my hats. It’s almost a little too big for women’s hats, but I use the extra room to store gloves. I like that there is a window so you can see what’s inside, and the top is sturdy enough to stack some lightweight items on top.
