Assembly wasn't particularly difficult, though it did take a little time. You definitely need two people to stand it up once you get the legs on. One tip: there are notes to remove a certain set of screws that are only for shipping...do not remove them until the table is assembled and back upright. This delayed me a bit as it unseated the playing surface from the table while still upside-down.Once it was together, we played a couple games immediately and it was great! While there are adjusters in the event the surface is too flat, convex, or concave, I've been very happy with the table's playing surface even after weeks of being able to settle and acclimate to the temperature and humidity. It also looks great in our basement. I do recommend this table if you're in the market for a 12 footer.
