This little go cart is great! I research the electric ride on toys and most of them are made and you nowhere and they have a high failure rate. Batteries brake parts break and so on. Those electric right on ones are a one big disappointment waiting to happen. Plus I saw the charging time is like all night to get a short ride out of it the next day. I see in my mind with one of those kids crying in the battery dying at the wrong place at the wrong time. So when I give the kids something where they can burn off their energy stay healthy and never have these problems. So I bought him this pedal one and it’s great. It’s simplistic and perfect. It has real rubber tires is very sturdy. I research the electric ride on toys and most of them are made and you know where and they have a high failure rate. Batteries brake parts break and so on. I highly recommend this. Oh to install the rear Lights and plate I cut a piece of half-inch PVC pipe and drilled two holes on each side all the way through and mounted it would zip ties. The reason why I did this is there’s no good place to mount the lights on the rear of the frame. So the PVC pipe allows me to push more inwardly the lights this way if the kid backs up against the wall or something it doesn’t break the lights. The front lights are protected by the two front wheels. Also FYI the bike has only one drive wheel, works ok on short level dry grass and compact gravel. Best on a smooth surface. The pedals don’t freewheel which is good so your kid can reverse and maneuver. Do not hesitate. The little ones are learning to drive and getting exercise doing it. Buy some custom license plates to screw onto the back of the seat. I still have to figure out a horn, or maybe a bell so it's not too annoying. Great product!

I like that they come in a box that actually has a picture on it of the product it made me think for a second that it was going to be cheap and then I saw the box and I was like yes this looks awesome we open it up put it together and everything was super sturdy and strong and easy to put together and then the girls started writing them I love that you can move the seat size we've got two of them so one for my little girl and one for my taller one I wish that my taller girl had a little bit more leg room but I'm sure we could always drill another hole into the metal to make the seat go back a little further but either way they love them they're fun little Cruisers and honestly I wish I could ride one around

My boy loves this! There's not much i can say since the item is pretty self explanatory. I will say he has the seat back on the farthest of 3 settings. He's 64lbs and 44 inches tall. So hopefully that'll help you. The quality is great, very sturdy. It's easy to pedal and doesn't seem to require much effort. Putting it together is very easy and the instructions were very straight forward And clear unlike a lot of things these days that require assembly. If you think your child will like this, you're right.

It definitely puts a smile on the kid's face. It is easy to pedal and steer for a 40"/35lb boy, and he loves to ride it. Overall, I would call this a good product, but a couple of things to note:The gear ratio is very low. This means it rolls out easily from a stop [on pavement], but a kid has to pedal like crazy to go fast. The pedal cranks are very short, so that means kids with medium/long legs are basically wiggling their feet to pedal, and can't get the leverage to take off quickly or to fight their way through rough terrain. The gearing is not low enough, however, to ride over grass or dirt. This kart is NOT off-road capable. Even with the granny-gearing, the kart is fast enough to get away from a jogging parent once it gets moving. Also, the tires are hard plastic and seem cheap. A kid will probably outgrow it before the tires go, but not if he/she likes to skid the tires. (Regular use of the brake lever skids the tires). The orange one was $100 when I purchased it. For that price, it's hard to knock it too much feature-wise. Aside from those cheap tires, it is well-made, mostly of metal. I expect it to last through ages 4-7, so I'd call the age range accurate.Lastly, the seated driver is less than half his/her standing height... AKA low enough to be invisible to cars, a concern if there are not safe sidewalks or parks around to ride on.

Likes: tires aren’t completely plastic. It looks great. Better than anything else I saw while browsing on Amazon.Dislikes: seat extension, pedal distance and steering angle doesn’t adjust to match a child’s arm length when kids grip the steering wheel, in my opinion.

I researched a lot of pedal carts for my 4 y.o. granddaughter and decided on this one. She loves it and I'm impressed with the quality of it. It seems well-built and like it will last. I like that it had a rubber tread on the wheels. It gets pretty good traction on our chip-seal driveway (pretty gravelly). It came mostly assembled and the rest went together easily.Granddaughter is 4 1/2. I had the seat initially on the shortest setting. After she tried it, I moved it back to the middle setting. I think there's only one more seat setting. I hope it lasts her a few more years. She can go fast on this, faster than her tricycle and she's mastering using the steering wheel. My only minor complaint is that it has a pretty large turning radius. When she needs a sharp turn, she just lifts it up and scoots it around a bit.

Our 4 year old son is thrilled with 'his car' and got the hang of it pretty quickly. As others have said, it is a bit smaller than we had hoped but everything else is perfect. We'll made, super easy to assemble and easy to use. He isn't quite ready for a 2 wheeler bike and this is a super fun way to get him active and build his confidence.
