I ordered this grinder not for coffee but for nuts and spices. I dehydrate surplus hot peppers from my garden each year and chop them to bake into sourdough bread. When I chopped them in my big expensive blender, the peppers scratched up the plastic blending jar pretty badly. This little grinder saved the day! Its stainless steel blade made quick work of the very hard dried chiles with zero damage to the unit itself. I love that I could lift the bowl out both for using the ground chiles and to clean up afterward. I haven't used it for nuts yet, but its performance on the most difficult task makes me confident that it will perform brilliantly. Super happy with this!

Please note that blade grinders chop coffee beans unevenly, leading to bitter or sour tastes, while burr grinders produce a consistent grind size, crucial for even extraction and optimal flavor. Avoid blade grinders for coffee unless budget constraints leave you no other option. This little grinder works great for spices. It’s easy to use, just press the button until you get the grind you want. It’s also quieter than I expected. The removable stainless steel bowl makes cleanup easy. This spice grinder is a solid choice if you need a small but powerful grinder.

This is a great grinder for my morning brew. The blade is 304 stainless steel (good quality) and the level of grind can be managed by time. Coarse grind - just a few seconds. Fine grind - a bit longer. It's easy to get the hang of it. Seems to do as good as job as my other grinder which cost about 100 bucks. This thing works well, is easy to clean and is excellent value for money.
