I love these towels. They are perfect for the gym or the sauna or the beach. Easy to roll up and put in a bag, nice large size, easy to wash and fast to dry. Pretty colors.

I’ve had these towels for 4 years and they have gotten noticeably softer and more absorbent with age and are without defect or loss of color vibrancy. They are thin, light and so beach worthy because the towels dry nicely in between use if you hang them up. I came back to write this review because I will be buying another set so when we have more than six people they’ll come in handy. Another highly desirable feature is that all six towels fit nicely in a single wash load with room to spare all the while getting super clean without making the washer dance and bang. Once done, in the dryer they go and they only take 15 minutes to dry on the high heat cycle. You will really enjoy not having to deal with 5lb soggy beach or pool towels.

In the past, I've always used the thick/plush terry towels for bath and poolside. So when my best friend (she's Turkish) gave me a Turkish towel about 8 months ago as a gift, I didn't think I would like it. I thought it was too big, felt it wouldn't be very absorbant, and it just wasn't like what I had been used to using all my life. But I'm pretty open minded, plus I trust my friend's good taste, so I just gave it a go.Oh my goodness... After using it numerous times, and seeing how nicely it came out of the wash, I felt I had to have more! So I purchased these 6 and now they are the only towels I use! They dry really fast so each day my towel still smells and feels fresh, so I use it longer. Not only do I not have a load of towels at the end of the week, I just toss my towel in with some tee shirts and shorts and everything comes out great. I give it a few minutes tumble in the dryer to soften up and then just hang it back in the bathroom to finish drying. I wish I had known about these towels when I still had kids living at home! I also love taking them to the pool. My terry beach towel, once wet, never dried between times of getting in and out. The Turkish towel tossed over the back of my chair is dry everytime I reach for it. The important thing to know about these towels is they get more absorbant after they have been washed a few times. And also, it seems important not to over dry them in a dryer. I worried about finding the same quality towels as the one my friend brought back from Turkey since I read a review that stated these 6 are "not real Turkish towels". But the 6 I bought here, are the same quality as the one brought back from Turkey by my friend. So...with all that said...I can still see how maybe these towels aren't for everyone. They are thinner. No, they don't feel like terry towels. But they dry me off, stay fresh a lot longer, easy to care for, save money and energy through less laundry, and the colors are fun! Win win win! And btw, I've had no problems with the fringe. The knots are still secure and they haven't tangled or frizzed out. I hope this helps.

I have been curious about these towels for a long time and was excited to use them for my family on our recent week long beach vacation. Here are my pros and cons.Cons:~They are not going to warm you and your kids up when you get out of the water cold. If it's windy or not super hot each day you are using it and you get out of the water and want to warm up because the water was cold, or you're wet and it's windy, these towels don't help much.~ I expected them to be ultra absorbent from the ads and did not find this to be the case. Think of a tea towel, it's kind of like drying dishes with a flat dish cloth like a tea towel. Even after you wipe thoroughly you're still a little wet.Pros~ They really are not bulky, I could fit all six towels in my beach bag easily with lots of room for other stuff, it was nice to cut down on the bulk ~ They do dry quickly ~ easy to tie around you waist as an adult or around kids shoulders like a cape. ~ They are definitely stylish. The colors are vibrant and it was nice to use it around my waist like a cover up. I'm a plus sized person and didn't expect that to work for me but was pleasantly surprised it did.Overall, we will continue to use them probably and maybe I'll like them more over time, but it was a bummer when my kids got out of the cold ocean water on a windy day with teeth chattering and they couldn't warm up with these towels. I had a terry swim cover up for my toddler but wished I had them for my other kids. Kind of an important feature for us, and it ruined one of our beach days because my kids wanted to leave the beach when they couldn't warm up with a towel that was actually warm.

These are REALLY PRETTY happy towels, of a generous size. I have only washed once (I always wash new things) and to my surprise, I did not have a washer full of threads, and I can see them getting much softer with each wash, they are still a bit stiff (air dried, not dryer dried). Finely and tightly woven, yet SUPER lightweight. I found these while shopping for regular bath towels and thought, why not. I am glad I did. They are so happy colored yet in a mature way. I can think of LOTS of uses for these, not just as convenient quick drying lightweight towels, but as tablecloths, window covers, a nice wrap your hair up in towel without feeling like you have a 10lb towel on your head, lampshade covers, Seat covers either to spruce up an old chair or protect your hinny from a hot car seat. I am sure they have their beach uses too. Heck if you are creative would be great to see a bunch put together into a quilt or with some creativeness and a backing, what pretty not so little throw rugs. The little carry pouch was a nice touch. My only complaint is that I did not buy more sets. Each one was a different color combo too. The 14 day held in customs was worth it. Very pleased and recommend.

So when I first got these towels I wasn’t to sure about them. They were very thin and not as soft as I was expecting. But since washing them they’ve become much softer and feel thicker too. Also I’ve washed them about three times now and I feel like after a couple more washes they will become even more absorbing. Right now they aren't as good as I was expecting but I’ve used cloth diapers and I know with the stuffers they needed washed a good half dozen times for max absorbency so I think a couple more washes with these towels and I’ll notice a big difference.They are very large but don’t take up much space so perfect for us to use in the camper. Colours are very nice and vibrant and they are quick to dry.I definitely recommend them!

Lovely soft feel towels with next day delivery from Turkey (the seller kindly supplied full tracking details). I received the six colours in the main pictures. My photos are under artificial light (last two with flash), the white stripe of the towels is actually a bright fresh white under natural daylight. I've tried to show some towel edges and texture as well to give an impression of the weave and thickness.

We live on our boat so space is limited, 6 of these towels fit In the space of 1 traditional bath towel. They dry really quickly, even during damp winter weather. Once laundered they are as absorbent as traditional towels.Great on the boat, great for travelling.
