Great for travel. Would not use as primary spotter. Has purple fringing with high mag, high contrast views. Other view scenarios are fine. Nice eye relief, brightness and color! 27x is suitable for most situations outside of serious hunting. Will keep for situations when weight and size are a concern.

We use this for archery spotting and it's easily clear enough for use out to at least 90m. For such a small scope it is remarkable. It's much clearer than the scope we are replacing which is at least 3-4 times the size. Perfect for travelling as it is tiny and light.

You get what you pay for, photo example is aPL15 -18 NRA target, outdoors, 25 yards at 9x and 27x. Eye relief acceptable.However, it is very compact and light
