Hayward always seems to be better quality and thats why I chose the Hayward brand. The basket fits nicely and works perfectly to trap the debri that gets filtered out of my pool. Easy to empty too.Update: The whole bottom broke out of this basket only after three weeks. Also I noticed there was no where on the basket stating that it was in fact a Hayward product. We bought a Hayward skimmer basket at the pool store and it does say Hayward so these being sold as Hayward are knock offs.

For the price, I was expecting them to be cheap platic but they were thick and well made. Great baskets for the price, esp when the local pool store wanted $30 a basket.

Good inexpensive alternative. Only had one season so not sure about durability. Noticed it is ever so slightly smaller than OEM as can see that some water is getting around it.

Plastic is cheap center arm broke 1st week. I dont expect this to last more then a year. Sad because the name claims its from the origional manufacturer could be a knock off
