The latches connect really well making the rail very stable. However, I could not remove the porch rail because of how I framed the rail to be able to remove if I need to remove or load large items on the porch. The problem was the right side latch could not lift up cause it was beneath the side rail. The left side two latches could not remove cause the latch connected to the post was too close the other latch so the bottom part of the rail could not pull through. Now, I’m sure there could be some way frame the latches, but I could not figure it out.

I purchased these corner connectors for a trailer I was rebuilding. They are so nice. They pull the sides together creating a sturdy connection. However they still allow the trailer to be modular. With these I can pull the sides off of my trailer and essentially create a flatbed. If I don't want it to be a flatbed I can put the sides back on and interconnect these corner latches for sturdiness. These were honestly probably the best piece of hardware I purchased for my trailer rebuild.

If you're making a wooden utility trailer or flatbed stake side set, these are what you need. The unequal lengths are perfect for joints where two 2x4s meet like in my photo.
