These split rings are exactly what I needed, but here's the deal - they're not heavy-duty rings. And that's actually why they're perfect for what I do.If you're looking for super sturdy, heavy-duty split rings, these aren't it. But if you need something with more flexibility for crafting, these are great. I use them for attaching lobster claws and other clips in my small craft projects. Regular split rings can be a pain because they're too rigid and tough to work with - try prying them wider than a key ring and its a struggle. Often once you manage that, then the ring stays a little open and looks more like a spiral because of the force used to get it on. On top of that, if can leave a scar mark because it was so tight to get on the item.These are actually made for chandelier crystals, which explains the flexibility. They're easy to work with and hold just fine for lighter items. I've added some pictures to show how I've used them in my projects along with comparison shot showing size relative to a paperclip and an earbud.Bottom line: Great for craft work and light attachments, just don't expect them to handle heavy-duty stuff. They do exactly what they're meant to do.
