You need this if you want to set the trap, really no way around it because I tried. Also, I found that you can even take the carcass out with it, outstanding tool for such a simple device

This is a great size for the 220's and the 330's. Anything smaller is a p.i.t.a. to use. This is the minimum length I would ever buy for setting 330's!
