I have always wanted an axolotl!! I love reptiles and amphibians, and I am a mother of 4 mini dragons (leopard geckos)— *note* if you look at the pictures I posted closely, you will see one of my dragons, “Hermione,†checking out her new axolotl friend! Anyway— for me, as adorable as they are, real axolotls are too difficult to take care of. There are plenty of axolotl toys and gadgets on the market, but most of them are geared towards kids and usually seem too cartoonish to serve as something an adult would display in their home. Not this axolotl!! In its beautiful, glass ball and with its simple, yet sophisticated white on clear color palette— it is… dare I say classy??!! Yep— I do dare, because, as impossible as it may seem, classy axolotl keepsakes really DO exist. This would make perfect, tasteful gift for any axolotl-loving adult or teen with a beautifully mature home, room, or office design.The only con I can think of is that so much axolotl stuff is geared towards kids these days, someone may think this is a good gift for a young child, and it is not…. It is too big to be a choking hazard for a baby or toddler, but it is a decoration, not a toy, so younger school-aged kids might get bored with it.

The gazing crystal ball I chose was the mushroom laser engraved photo that has a 3D look to it, it looks exactly as pictured, and comes with a stand and a gift bag. The box it comes in could be wrapped instead though since the gift bag is mesh and is see-through so the recipient would know before they opened it. The only complaint here is that it does not come with a microfiber cleaning cloth- which would be nice to have, however, most people usually have a few on hand to wipe things off without causing scrapes and damage to delicate items. The glass ball can be washed by hand with mild soap, a soft cloth, and warm water, rinsed, and dried with a soft cloth to bring back the shine and luster.These can also be put on a light-up base made for spheres and used as a night light that can change patterns and colors depending on what you pick up and whether it has a remote control or not, light bases are sold separately.One thing to note with the mushroom photo raindrops are falling around the mushrooms which may benefit from a light-up base and give it almost a movement effect. Keep out of reach of small children who pick up a lot of things, they can be dropped and hurt a foot, break glass, harm a pet, be thrown, and break something.These make for creative photo props and interesting lighting like sunsets. Works as a paperweight if you have an office with a fan blowing you can set the base on top of a small stack of papers as long as it feels stable.Makes a fun gift for older children around 8 years old and up, teens, and adults for birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and many other special occasions.

I don't know about you, but I love little crystal balls. This was is not one of my favorites. I love mushrooms and the idea of what they represent. This looks very nice on my office shelf with a light behind it. They are about the size of your hand and smaller than a baseball. It was great quality.

Fun idea but glass was pretty heavily scratched which was disappointing.

70% of the aircraft is covered by tiny bubbles resulting in a fuzzy appearance, the results of poor surface preparation and/or pour. I was making stuff like this in the late ‘60s so have an understanding of the process. The airline logo is only on the starboard side of the aircraft when it should be on both.

A bit smaller than I had expected, but cute nonetheless. It looks beautiful in the sunlight. Great price for a nice little shelf or desk trinket. Appears to be quality craftsmanship. Color is very clear, and the glass is shiny/bright. It doesn’t look dull in the slightest. The mushroom details are adorable! If you’re a fungi lover like myself, get it!

Oh my gosh! This mushroom crystal ball is so amazing!!! My grandma will love it! It will be hard keeping it a secret until Christmas.It arrived exactly as advertised. It has a nice, sturdy wooden base that holds the ball securely. It easily plugs into a USB power adapter (not included). It has a nice light-color remote control that is easily operated with a push of a button.Overall, I am very pleased!*See my picture for more product details.

Very pretty. Nice quality and looks awesome. Would look great displayed anywhere and would be a cute gift. It’s very nice and a good size
