The description is A JOKE! These rods came bowed. They are only a rolled piece of metal that isn’t even soldered closed. When I tried to fix the bow, the “seam†bent open. I only put 2 sheers on this rod (one at each end), and I had to tie a piece of thread in the middle to the other curtain rod to keep it from dipping. DO NOT BUY if you’re planning to extend it, it might be fine in the nested state.

It is definitely long enough and looks good. It did come slightly bent, but that was easily fixed.
