I do not like to use adaptors, I thought about such an item and I know I could not find them in Kigali my home country but then I know AMAZON can never disappoint me on any item that I need. I am happy to say that this item works as intended, the picture is good enough and the material is also fine

My second computer screen had a VGA cable with an adapter for a HTMI connection to the PC, every time I started the computer the second screen fell into a sleep mode and the screen turned black until I wriggled on the adapter and the screen came back just to fall asleep again shortly after this again, and this can continue 6 or 7 times. Then the screen stayed on pretty much for the rest of the day I used the PC. But it aggravated me a lot.This cable VGA to HDMI solved this problem and no more sleepy second screen when starting the PC.

Learned when researching why the honestly good looking product doesn't work is because it's not what I thought. To convert VGA to HDMI you need a chipped converter with a power source, not just a cable input adapter. Live and learn, but I will return this.

This cable is working great for my setup. I have an Acer monitor (AL1916W) and I needed to set the Refresh Rate to 60.070 in order to have an acceptable display. Without setting this manually, it seemed like the cable created a distorted image and was defective.

Very bad quality compare to its price, one screw was missing..not recommended to buy
