This was a Christmas present for my daughter and the first time she tried to open the clasp, the chain broke. The materials used for this product are so flimsy, even at a 'good deal', it isn't worth your money.

The black part of the necklace broke off as I tried it on for the first time. I then took it off the other side and took the brackets off that held them on. The actual necklace part was fine.
