Good choice for a useful gift. I have found Hearthsong's products to be carefully selected to appeal to kids and to be of good quality, not junk. This portfolio was a favorite when I first bought it, and my grandchildren always ask for another one, so each child will have their own.

I purchased this portfolio for an 8 year old artist as a Christmas gift and it was a big hit with him. He loved it & immediately started filling it with his artwork. The dividers are great for keeping his papers more organized. The exterior is bright and colorful and the interior is large enough to hold larger size paper and a large amount of art. This is a very nice gift choice for kids who enjoy drawing/painting etc.

My friend has a son who is an extremely talented artist at 4 he was drawing things even adults couldn't do. As an artist myself is peeved me to see all his beautiful art, sometimes even the casual ones on copy paper, just squished in drawers or all over the place. So I got him this! The size is great for oversized school projects and now he can proudly store all his pieces. I also bought him paper on a roll with 2 refills. Great gift and I'm sure he'll fill it up soon!

My son is in preschool and I always have artwork in various places in the house or tucked away to save, so I was excited to purchase this. It does not disappoint! Very sturdy, beautiful, and looks like it will hold up over time! It also fits larger artwork which is helpful (and a lot of artwork)! I do wish it had a little Velcro over the top but I can always purchase the circular Velcro and put inside.

Very sturdy, I have some earlier versions for acouple years. Expandable holds my stencils up to 18in lbs 12 in wide. Has dividers to organize by category. Great for kid's school art that you want yo save.

Did not want black. I am an on again off again Artist. Decided I wanted a gathering place for my pieces of paper which were stacked up all over. I am not a child, but why should they have all the fun?Will buy a second one when this one is full. Plan to buy one for my nine year old grandson too.

Liked the idea but the accordion dividers are cheaply made and two ripped making the slots not useable. Disappointing. Returned same day it was delivered.
