I ordered 4 of these for baby chickens. Only used one. It burned for two weeks straight with no problems. So far it seems like a good quality bulb.

I dont recommend this bulb. They do heat up. Yet are very Dainty and very thin all the way around . So easy to break. Not made for farm and industrial standard usage. They get hot as H$!! on the sides down to the point where they are screwed in and will melt the base of whatever they are screwed into! . Recessed lighting et all! Beware of a serious safety hazard as well~ For the money , a much better design can be found. I am very dissapointed with my purchase.

I use these to keep my pipes from freezing . They are on a timer on about 8hr a day I keep checking to see if they burnt out but they still work . I have bought locally in the past but they only last a short time and burn out . I will have a spare bulb for next winter .

Did the job for us. They do seem to burn out quicker than more expensive bulbs but the price is right on this two pack, you can’t go wrong
