About this item

  • High Temp Heat Treat Foil to 2000F degrees
  • This foil is 24" wide, not 12" like most so check the width when comparing prices.
  • This foil is sold by the foot so if you order 10, you will get 10 feet by 24" wide
  • This tool wrap is .0020" thick and is 24" wide. A single wrap will do. Use this foil to wrap your knives before heat treating to protect them from damage to decarb or scale
  • Double over all the seams and pound them shut with a hammer. This stuff will cut you like a razor! Be careful when you handle it


There are some makers that like to put a piece of paper in side of the foil pouch to 'eat up' the oxygen trapped in the pouch. I just don't see the value in that with such a minuscule amount of oxygen sealed in the pouch.
