wow these 14" Hoops ( rims) Make my snare sing ..... don't be fooled by Die Cast or 3.0 Hoops that choke your drum...these 1.6 are excellent for rolls and rim shots ! Buy them for less then 20 bucks and see for yourself ? Mark at MonsterDrumWorks FLA - USA .

The package was so light, I legitimately thought they only shipped one hoop. And that it was made out of plastic. Easily bendable with one hand. In fact, one of them was bent for me in shipping. Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to trying them on a sun until it was too late to return them.

Thinner rims on snare drums allow the drum to resonate much more than triple flanged hoops.
