Heavy Duty 3/4″ x 48″ with 6″ Helix “Galvanized” Screw Anchor Heavy duty with welded closed Eye Ideal for corrosive environments – “Hot
dipped Galvanized Finish” Commonly used for securing small planes, vineyard
trellises, storage sheds, tents, orchard and nursery trees, swing sets,
clothes lines, fences, retaining walls, radio antennas, small windmills,
floating docks, and pet restraint. All eye anchors are manufactured from
steel that conforms to ASTM A-36 M1020 standards. Holding strength is based
on clay soils which are of hard to medium density. The holding strength is
reduced in softer less dense soils and sandy soils. To ensure maximum
holding strength, anchor must be installed to full depth with the bottom of
eyelet at ground level. Anchor eyelets are always weld closed, eyelets can
be left open upon request of the customer. 4000 lb+ pull out resistance in

The Helix Anchors is wel made & was perfect for my application. I screwed them into the ground with only 4" sticking out of the ground. My soil was 1' topsoil & the remaining was clay. This anchor was easy to get into the ground!

We added this to our two story dock line to prevent pull out during wind events. It is holding like a champ. We used a hoe handle to twist it all the way into the soil.

This is well constructed, thick enough to secure 15 foot Pigmy palm that was sagging, I see many people using wood poles to prop up these type of trees but it’s very unsightly, by using 1/8” steel cable it allows me to almost hide the cable supporting the Palm tree.

Used this to provide a morring for holding a boat off the dock. Went into sandy bottom very easily with a pipe to thread it in. Very sturdy and well galvanized item. Not sure about holding strength in the sand but it threaded in until eye is under ground.

I have two of these I'm using as moorings. They drilled easily into the sand in the lake bed and will hold a small boat in place even in choppy conditions.

Looked at these in a local marine store. They were 3 times the price. They’ve anchored my 10x10 inflatable floating dock all summer
