If I could give it a 3.8 I would. The knives are just too small for a weak fingers. But very well made

Quality product at a great price point, with proper installation of each hose, this product holds up for about 5 years in sub-tropical condition while on the ground w/o protection from weather (wild) Purchased this product to replace the previous model of an identical design.Realistically, the purchase of a replacement wasn't required due to the original being in serviceable condition, but it was a time sensitive need, so purchased a new-one and placed the original in the bin of items that I clean-up/repair when time allows

Appears sturdy: in the desert plastics are a no-go and this brass hose splitter fits the bill.

This was a perfect set-up for watering shrubs around the house. Beats dragging a hose to different locations! The hose splitter seems well built and the quarter turn valves works well. Teflon sealing tape and rubber washers are included in the package. Did not use the provided tape, only the rubber washers. I also used a little bit of silicone grease around the water valve outlet before installing the hose splitter to resist corrosion. No issues so far.

After a couple of years, I unscrewed a hose, and part of the faucet unscrewed off. No way to get it to stay on. So now I have to buy another one. Hopefully the more expensive one will perform better.

Outside hose connection. Did not use Teflon tape, rubber washers provided a good seal. You do need to support the manifold when all 4 ports are connected. I did support the manifold against the wall where the faucet is mounted. Used under the cabinet hardware for mounting sinks. A long screw bolt that has a hook latch riding the screw with the end of screw terminated with a spiky washer that grabs wood. Obtained when I replaced the kitchen sink. I modified the hook to fit the centre mounting hole of the manifold. You tighten the screw and it pushes the manifold away from the wall. A bush fix that will help. It is easily dismounted since only tension is used to support the assembly. Useful for winter preparation.
