Lots of reviews state this cable was too short. It was the exact same length as my stock cable. It is very smooth and pedal takes about 25% less effort. The only thing was mounting bracket was too long and facing the wrong way. I just removed it and installed the stock bracket in its place. Quality appears to be very good.

I liked the smoothness of the cable movement. It was about a foot shorter than original, had to reroute to make it work, concerned it might be to close to exhaust pipe, and support bracket wouldn't work

I’ve done this job already a couple years ago the replacement cable I previously bought was shorter than oem this cable was even shorter, it barely is long enough and is running right next to my header because there’s no extra slack to get it away. The bracket it came with isn’t even close to correct, I had to rip it off and attach an old one. I saw these negative reviews but figured after years maybe they’d fixed their product, I was wrong. If you want something that fits perfect and needs no modifications, this isn’t it. I was able to get it to work, but I can’t see it lasting long, the cable does feel ok though.

The product did not fit my 2003 Mach 1 Mustang. It was too short and the securing bracket was too long. To bad because it shipped quickly, looked well built, and was inexpensive. Good for someone but not the Mach 1's or likely the Cobra's.

Its about one foot shorter tan oem, bracket does not fit where is supuse to, had to buy another one
