If you need to hand-stitch thicker materials like denim, these are great. They could be sharper, but any DIY enthusiast should have the means to refine the tips of these needles as needed. These are particularly good for patchwork and for fixing items that don't easily fit through a sewing machine.

They are okay but not sharp enough for the thick material I was trying to go thru. The curved needles do not curve for the first 5mm or so.
