I have been using the new shredder for several months now and it works great! Obviously the first shredder was defective. The seller of this product didn’t hesitate to assist me when I had problems with the first shredder and sent me a new one ASAP. Would definitely buy from the seller again.The seller of this product contacted me and worked with me to get a replacement shredder. I received the new shredder and so far so good, it is working and shredded items smoothly. Once I have used it more I will upgrade the stars if it proves to be worthy, but I definitely give customer service a star rating!So I bought the shredder at the end of October. Has been a very busy last few weeks and just sat down to use it for the first time today. As soon as I turn it on, it says that it’s overheated and won’t even shred one piece of paper. Unfortunately, I was over the 30 day return policy with Amazon so now I have to contact the actual company to see if they will honor the warranty. Has anyone else purchased the shredder and had the same issue?

Was going to bring my shredding to a shred place but it would had cost by weight at least 300 to 400 hundred dollars. I decided to buy this shredder and it was the best investment. A lot cheaper to shred important documents with a peace of mind that no one will obtain your personal information. I highly recommend this model. Meet my expectations beyond belief!!! High speed and no jamming and stops when filled to capacity. Worth buying.

So I've got a tried and true Royal cross cut shredder that I've had for over 20 years. After about 30 minutes it overheats and then we have to wait for 20 minutes while it cools off. This Frossvt shredder has yet to overheat and we've used it for hours. It's a workhorse. A bit pricy but so was my 20 year old shredder. I've had it for three months. We went thru the entire house and shredded almost everything older than 7 years (tax reasons), filled up trash bag after trash bag and this shredder kept working. It's much quieter and faster than my older shredder and is a breeze to empty. The clear window let's you know exactly when to empty the shredder. If you're balking at the price, don't. It's worth every penny.

UPDATE: the company read my review and contacted me, offering to replace my shredder at no additional cost to me. Unfortunately, I had already purchased another model but I would have preferred to keep this model, it shreds more pages than other models in same price range. I give this company’s customer service 5 stars!!I loved the machine when I unpacked it; however, I only used it once. I let my shred pile stack up and when I plugged it in to use for the 2d time, it wouldn’t turn on. I didn’t overheat during first use. I didn’t do anything out of the normal operating guidelines during first use.

I purchased this shredder in late August 2024 it stop working after four months. I paid $229.00 for it, it now sells for $139.00.
