I wanted a tough power strip for being able to use appliances at camp as well as having usb connections for charging various lights, fan etc.this is definitely that but instead of putting it into the camping gear closet, I plugged it in and we have been using it daily ever since. From work from home monitors to charging rechargeable batteries this thing is a workhorse. I love that you can power the entire unit off when needed. Money well spent.

I needed a heavy duty thick cable (12 AWG) power strip on my 20-amp GFCI outlet in the garage. This unit is "built tough"...steel, heavy, and can handle tough start up loads (treadmill, fridge, compressor, etc). So far, so good. I tested it with an outlet tester -- all good.Why buy this? Safety. Durability. Protection (2,700 Joule rating can take a lot of hits). High start up loads. Thick 12 AWG can handle stressful (continuous) demanding power appliances.Solid buy.

Heavy duty construction. Abundant amount of outlets plus two USB outlets. I put this in my shed. I won't be using all the outlets but now have the room to use and leave in place a couple of transformer adapters and still have room for regular plugs. The USB plugs are USB A's only so an USB A to C adapter will be needed for those.To mount it I just screwed in some sheet metal screws through the rubberized edges of the power strip instead of messing with the PIA keyhole slots in the backside of the power strip.It looks good and I'm pretty sure it will last for awhile.

This item is working well for me. It's nice I can turn the whole unit off when not in use, instead of having to unplug it.
