Yes, you could easily buy all these parts separately, but this kit gives you everything you need to anchor your RV awning in a handy little carry-bag. A strong wind burst can wreck your awning support structure, so this is a great way to hedge against that. Love that they used blaze orange, helps keep you from walking straight into the straps or tripping over them. Usually.

The D clips that come with this kit are not strong. They broke the first time we used it when a wind gust blew in.
