I feel like it is pretty heavy duty. Easy to use and clean. The strings don’t feel flimsy like others I have tried. However they don’t have that sharp kind of feeling you get with others so I feel like you have to push a little harder to cut. But I think its a good product that works well and is a nice sleek size.

We are using a lot egg slicers. Before we were using the plastic ones. Now this slicer is excellent and we are happy with this purchase. It is sturdy and it works very good. Value for money good too.We are highly recommending it.

I bought this slicer recently and use it daily for slicing boiled eggs. It works okay. Seems like it will last a while.

This is a really nice egg slicer. Cuts smoothly and cleans nicely..We had a plastic one previous to this one and just let me say this one is much better. My husband uses it more than me and he really liked it!

I have bought other egg slicers that have been plastic and didn't last long at all. This egg slicer is metal, heavy and dishwasher safe. The wires to slice are also metal. Great product, great quality!

This is much more heavy duty than the red plastic one I'd had for years and finally broke. The indent is round rather than oval, but that doesn't cause any problems. The egg rests in there fine. I haven't used it yet for mushrooms - that's how I broke the old one. But, overall, it's a nice, sturdy cutter that takes less space and seems a safer bet for surviving my jumbled kitchen gadget drawer.
