I was looking for a solution for the porch swing I had built a few years ago which hung from my porch roof. After moving my swing sat for a year, I just hadn’t had the time to but it a frame. A quick search on Amazon I came across these. I was skeptical about how rigid they would be so I read many of the reviews before placing my order. Once they arrived I quickly ran to Menards and purchased 4 8’ 4x4’s for the legs and one 8’ 4â€x6’ for the top. The kit came with all of the hardware needed for assembly. I did have to use a rubber mallet to knock in one of the legs as it was a little tight. I added a 2â€x6†cross member on each side. After I set it up I was very surprised how sturdy it was and I didn’t really even need the extra bracing from the cross members I added. I did cut about 9 inches off of each leg to make the top 72†tall and cut them at an angle to make them level with the ground, but not necessarily needed. It did not come with instructions but all you need is the 4 4â€x4†and one 4â€x6†I purchased ground contact treat and spent about $55 at Menards. The finished product is very nice, absolutely no sway in any direction. If you’re looking for a time saver buy these. The bearings in the swing mounts are perfect for the job! The swing is absolutely silent! Thanks again Amazon.

Horrible quality, not worth a penny imo. Very unsafe, I wouldn’t trust this pot metal bracket for anything. Started cracking and splitting as I bolted it up and moved it around. The swivels are made of the same light weight pot metal as well so beware. Ended up breaking into multiple pieces taking it all back off to return it. Save yourself or someone else and buy the ones that aren’t cast metal and that are welded not 1 piece, much more durable. Bought this style on accident, if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have got it to begin with, figured I’d give it a try since I had it already but it was useless before I even got it standing on its own weight. I have the welded style on another swing and love it, won’t get anything different from here on.

I put together my swing using these brackets and hangers they were easy to mount and secure. The metal is very strong and durable and the swing was a lot of fun to swing on. Good buy to mount any swing set.

These swing set brackets are incredibly sturdy and well-made. They fit perfectly on our garden playset and have held up beautifully. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a strong, safe swing set!

We were super careful but we did have one of the sleeves to crack. We continued on and it worked out to make a small swing set.

I bought this for my daughter to make her a swing set for Christmas. It’s a great idea but the material is horrible and not worth the money. It’ll probably be fine for now since she’s little but I’ll be looking at different brackets
