We have used this boating tow rope for towables. It easily handles pulling 400 lbs of load around on the water. The ends of the rope have metal gated hooks for a very secure connection. The drawbacks: the metal hooks on the ends sink in the water where the boat’s propeller is (safety concerns), and the yellow plastic floats along the rope slide down the rope as boat speeds increase (which in this case sent water constantly flying in the faces of the towable riders - not fun). If someone is using the tow rope for hulling kayaks on the water this product would work well. Some modifications could also be made to keep the floats in place I am sure. Proceed with caution.

The rope frays apart Everytime it gets caught on something around the boat very cheaply designed. I would not recommend this rope for anything.
