This product looks identical to the ones I get from my local supplier. The porcelain is exactly what my local utility company wants when anchoring their service drop. The clamp adjusts for different size conduit. I’m using it with 2†rigid in this photo. The clamp bends around he pipe slightly which is typical for this type of product. Good value.

These band clamp mounted Insulators are replacing original parts from ORIGINAL BUILD of Residential Home, from 1958!The only Insulator still in tact is the one SERVING THE DWELLING ! LMAO....it's a miracle the Drop Wires didn't get ripped off the J-Pole.The Lower Hanging Insulators are IDEAL for putting up Short Wave / Long Wire / Dipole-Wire Antennas!If you have heavy insulated Drop Wires (on the Hot Side) it's more than likely you can get away with stringing up a Short Wave Wire on one of these, if you have nowhere else to put one....that's the case at my place.
