The shears are not huge. Not too heavy either. The handles are larger than the blade. However it’s a perfect size for a small garden pruning. The blade is sharp and gives a smooth trim. Handles are comfortable too.

Worked fine over thin foliage.. but when trimming hedge took effort to cut through quarter inch branches.. should have purchased a larger trimmer..

I took them outside and tried them on a few stray branches of my yew shrub. They snipped the new growth like butter, but anything bigger than a thin new branch they wouldn’t go through. I tried them on a 1/4 inch branch and had to hack repeatedly at it to get it to cut.They are mini in the sense that they can only cut through tiny branches. I’m bummed because they are lightweight and easy to use. I wish they were more versatile to use on meatier branches.They’re good for grass and very thin branches only. If you have anything thicker than that, don’t bother.

these are amazing. i purchased them for my mom for her birthday because she wanted a small pair of gardening shears. they’re lightweight and easy for her to carry around in the yard. i’m going to be ordering me a pair soon!
